A perfect non-skid custom installation starts with a perfect pattern. Every boat is as unique as the boat's owner! So to truly achieve an ideal fit for your non-skid decking  you need a custom blue print of you vessel.  We perform a state of the art 2D digital scan of your boat transcribed into CAD software to create the exact blueprint of your boat to build your custom decking.

Our Process

Fully Customized Non-Skid Decking (Professional templating at your location)

Marine Customs is a Certified Fabricator, installer, and supplier of Aqua Marine Decking. As such, the most common and popular service we provide is a totally custom and unique installationon the customer’s boat. This involves our Custom Design Consultant creating custom templates onboard the Customer’s boat of the areas requiring our Aqua Marine Decking. These templates are then scanned and imported into our CAD software where they are digitized. The templates are then manipulated for a perfect fit and finish. At this stage, any patterns, graphics or logos the customer desires are created and digitized into the templates. The non-skid decking parts are then fabricated on our high precision CNC machinery. Lastly, our Custom Design Consultant expertly installs the finished Aqua Marine Decking on the customer’s boat for a completely custom look!

Semi-Custom Non-Skid Decking (I want to template my boat myself)

Many boat owners choose a “semi-custom” route for their Aqua Marine Decking project. They elect to use one of our Template Kits to template their own boat, with support from us. Once we receive the completed template from the customer, it is processed by us exactly as it would be in a “Full Custom” installation. After we fabricate the parts, we ship them to the owner who then self-installs his or her custom  decking kit. This is also a popular option for our customers who are not in the vicinity of one of our service areas.
